Please bear with me on this unorthodox way of handling this insertion, but we are in an awful bind for tine. I have to leave for Texas on Monday, and tine is running short. Here's what we had in Binds 1. I have sent the enclosed proof and also a mat to the people at the papers listed below with whoa we have been working on the Texan CopaGirl search. 2. 1 have suggested they aortise out a block at the lower left as 1 Indicated on the enclosed proof to drop in copy that coincides with their editorial natter, which has Just been great. 3. I have advised each of the sen below to hold up insertion in their papers of the ad until they get an insertion order froa your agency. Therefore, would you please get up a schedule and talk to Jack on the phone sson as possible, so we can begin placing these ads by .Tuesday or Wednesday. 4. We start the auditions in El Paso on October 16. but inasmuch as most of the papers are limiting entries to about October 10 or 12. it would help to get these ads in real soon. I realize it's a big ad. and I don't know how far Jack wants to go on spending money, but 1 would like to suggest once or twice in each paper. 8. But, the papers will hold until they get an order froa your agency. Please reaeaber these men are city ahd managing editors, and I hope you will be careful in writing to thea about placing the ad ?╟≤?╟÷?╟≤perhaps using the phrase ?╟Ñas per talks with Freeman, etc?╟Ñ. 6. da sending the cut down to Houston for the CHRONICLE, as that paper is the sparkplug of the whole campaign.
