Knickerbocker, General Manager I*oa Angeles, California, Dear Sir For your information and file, I am showing below actual weir measurements of our water supply at las Vegas, as made by -voter Service Foreman Anderson day, or a decrease of 171,070 gallons per day as compared with similar weir measurements token in June 1935, consumed by railroad facilities at this point, and assuming the present population of las Vegas to be in the neighborhood of 7500 people,*there is available for use in the city 535 gallons per person per day, and thi3 amount is evidently being used as shown by personal examination on March 28th when no water was rui ning over the spillway. for presentation at the meeting of the City Commissioners tonight, so that due consideration can be given our request for enactment of an ordinance to prohibit waste of water.
