AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE SUBDIVISION OF LAND INSIDE THE INCORPORATED AREA OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That a certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clark of the City of Las Vegas, being marked and designated as "RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE SUBDI­VISION OF LAND INSIDE THE INCORPORATED AREA OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INCONFLICT HEREWITH, be and the same is hereby referred to as the "Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Las Vegas", and by such reference and adoption made a part of this ordinance the same as if it were fully set forth herein. SECTION 2. The provisions of the "Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Las Vegas", shall govern the procedure for the subdivision and improvement of land within the city, when and where applicable. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid, or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. SECTION 5. Any violation of this ordinance, or any provision herein contained, shall constitute a mis- demeanor and upon conviction thereof, the offender shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the City Jail for not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, provided however, that the penalty above provided shall not be exclusive but merely cumula­tive of any other remedy authorized by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect one week from its adoption pursuant to the Charter of the City of Las Vegas, Chapter 2, Section 30, as amended. APPROVED: /s/ C.D.
