RELEASE Attention, all you Houston lovelies! Today is the day that you can start signing up for the biggest beauty and talent spectacular ever to be held in Texas?╟÷the giant Miss Houston Pageant sponsored by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. It's set for July 14 in the Sam Houston Coliseum. The entry blanks are ready and you have until June 22 to turn them in. You can get the entry forms at the Jaycee office, lith floor, Commerce Building, or at Bill McDavid Oldsmobile, Inc., 1401 Travis. Mr. McDavid is underwriting the entire event. By the way, if you wish, you can write to the Jaycees for an official entry blank. "Me are following the official rules of the Miss America Pageant, of which our program is the local preliminary," said Bob Burke, co- chairman of the entries committee. Here are the rules as set down by the Miss America Pageant: Girls must be?╟÷ 1. Not less than l?· no more than 28 years of age by Sept. I. 2. A resident of Houston for at least the past sixoaonths. 3. A high school graduate by Sept. 1. 4. Single and never have been married, divorced or had a marriage annulled. 5. Of good character and possess poise, personality, intelligence, charm and have beauty of face and figure. 6. In good health. ----M 0 R E----
