V (i) All of the right, title and interest of the Water Company,or any successor in ownership,in and to that certain permit granted by the Board of Commis­sioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, whereby the Water Company was granted permission for a term of fifty (5 0 ) years from February 21, 1930, to install, lay down and maintain water pipe lines, water mains and all necessary and proper appliances used in con­nection therewith or appurtenant thereto in, through, under or across, under or along all of the streets, alleys, avenues and highways of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, including Clark's Las Vegas Townsite, the original townsite of Las Vegas, and all additions, tracts and subdivisions existing as a part of said City on February 21, 1930, and all addi­tions, tracts and subdivisions which thereafter may have or may be added to said City of Las Vegas or thereafter laid out or subdivided for the purpose of supplying the inhabitants of the City of Las Vegas with water. Said permit provides that the Water Com­pany shall not be entitled to assign the permit or any rights thereunder without the consent of the Board of Commissioners of the said City of Las Vegas first had and obtained in writing. At any time after the escrow provided in Section 7 shall have been opened Water Com­pany agrees, at the request of the District,to request the consent of the Board of City Commissioners of the said City of Las Vegas to assign all rights and priv­ileges under said permit to the District, and when said consent shall have been obtained, to assign by appropri­ate document and deliver to the District such assignment if required by the District. In the event that the Dis­trict shall not request the Water Company to assign said permit, the Water Company agrees that after the sale date it will never exercise or claim the right to exercise any right under said permit for the purpose of serving cus­tomers in the City of Las Vegas with water as a public utility. (j) All of the right, title and Interest owned or claimed on the sale date by the First Parties in and to easements, licenses, leases, contracts and permits for the construction, maintenance, operation, and renewal under, along, upon or across the lands of others for the water distribution facilities referred to in subpara­graphs (f) and (g) of this Section 1.
