PULL BACK to include the Duke as he smiles vicariously down at the thing. DUKE Is it dangerous? BARON Verily. Most dangerous. DUKE A What doth it contain? A viper, perhaps? Poisonous spiders? A hellion from Hades, maybe? BARON In that box, your grace, is all the danger of the world, conjured up through the tonal abberations of my magnificent magic harmonium. The Baron gestures toward the pipe organ. DUKE ?╟≤ One peek... I wouldst have one little peek into it. The Duke reaches for the lid of the box. BARON With care, your worship, the terrible thing doth wreek of destruction. 29 CLOSE ANGLE - THE MAGIC BOX The Duke stealthily moves his hand to the lid. Slowly, carefully, he opens it. Immediately, savage cries and whoops are heard as (MATTE SHOT) a war party of Indians race around a circle of wagons accompanied by gunshots and hideous screams. 30 ANOTHER ANGLE - DUKE AND BARON A firey arrow flies out of the box and lands in the wall dangerously close to the Duke?╟╓s head. He slams the lid down quickly, blotting out the noise of the thing. As Baron Kook beats out the fire started by the flaming arrow.
