Thereafter, no further business appearing before the Board, a recess was declared, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, to Tuesday, April 23rd, 1929, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. April 23rd, 1929. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 23rd day of April, 1929, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M. PRESENT: His Honor the Mayor, J. F. Hesse, Commissioners O. J. Smith and W. B. Mundy, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. ABSENT: Commissioners W. C. German and Roy Neagle. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. The Board discussed the purchasing of office equipment for the City Clerk. Thereafter, the Clerk was directed to write to various furniture stores and get prices on the equipment necessary to equip the new city clerk's office. The Board then entered into a discussion of dance hall regulation in this city, and the Clerk was directed to write to the City Clerk at Reno, Nevada and request a copy of the Reno Dance Hall Ordinance. No further business appearing at this time, the meeting was recessed, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, to April 24th, 1929, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. April 24th, 1929. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held April 24th, 1929, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M. PRESENT: His Honor, the Mayor, J. F. Hesse, Commissioners W. B. Mundy and O. J. Smith, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. ABSENT: Commissioners W. C. German and Roy Neagle. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the City Treasurer was directed and authorized to pay to First State Bank of Las Vegas, Nevada, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00), as payment on option on that certain parcel of land known as Municipal Air Field, said sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00) to be drawn from the Publicity Fund. No further business appearing, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, a recess was declared until April 29th, 1929, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M.
