CityMgr.Dora Lord City Clerk Shirley Ballinger ABSENT: Commissioner Wendell Bunker ORDINANCE NO. 507 Discussion was held with the Trailer Parks in the City in regard to the proposed amendment to the Trailer Park Ordinance. Thereafter an ORDINANCE Entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, REGULATING THE CONSTRUCTION USE AND OPERATION OF TRAILER PARKS, PROVISION PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCE IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Peccole and Whipple was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Peccole moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 507 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. Las Vegas, Nevada November 5, 1952 A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held this 5th day of November, 1952 was called to order at the hour of 7:45 P.M. by His Honor Mayor C.D. Baker with the following members present: Mayor C.D. Baker Commissioner Wendell Bunker Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett Commissioner William Peccole Commissioner Reed Whipple City Attorney Howard Cannon City Manager Chet Shelley Ass't City Mgr. Dora Lord Deputy City Clerk Grace Valenziano ABSENT:City Clerk Shirley Ballinger PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Bunker moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 1359 to 1364 inclusive in the net amount of $36,656.07 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Se R V ICE & MATe R IA L WARRANTS MINUTES PU BLIC HEARING Vacation South 3rd St. between Wyoming & Oakey Commissioner Whipple moved that Service & Material Warrant Nos. 2333 to 2337 and 2339 in the total amount of $33,759.92 be approved and the Mayor and city Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the minutes of October 15, 17, 20, 1952 be approved by reference and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set for the Public Hearing on the vacation of South 3rd Street between Wyoming & Oakey Blvd., His Honor asked if there were any protestants present. Mr. Dudsey was present and requested the Board to hold this matter in abeyance because of the Fire Chief’s objection. Thereafter, Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that the vacation of South 3rd Street be approved be held in abeyance and the Engineering Department submit a map of the area. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. VACATION This being the time set for the Public Hearing on the vacation of a portion of H St. and Bonanza H St. and Bonanza Rd. Road His Honor asked if there were any protestants present. No objections were voiced or filed. Commissioner Jarrett moved the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that this vacation of H St. and Bonanza be approved and the following order of vacation adopted.
