    Commissioners Hansell, German and Thomas and Mayor Pro tem Smith Voting aye Noes none. Motion by Commissioner Hansell Seconded by Commissioner German that F. A. Thomason be appointed plumbing Inspector to succeed W. A. Houser. Plumbing Inspector to file a bond of $1,000.00 with the City Clerk. Salary to equal the fees up to but not to exceed $150.00. Carried. Vote as follows: Commissioners Hansell, German, Thomas Mayor pro tem Smith Aye. Noes None. Motion by Commissioner German seconded by Commissioner Hansell that Mr. Ullom be instructed to order two books to use in regards to the paving bonds. Carried. Vote as follows. Commissioners Hansell, and German, and Mayor pro tem Smith Aye. Noes None. Motion by Commissioner Hansell seconded by Commissioner German that $5.00 per month be allowed J. R. Huett Sr. for janitor services for office of City Clerk, and Board Room. Carried. Vote as follows: Commissioners Hansell and German voting Aye, Mayor pro tem Smith Aye. Noes None. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time meeting adjourned until June 22nd 1929 at the hour of 10:00 A.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. JULY 2nd 1929. At a special meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County Nevada, held on the 2nd day of July 1929, at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present His Honor the Mayor J. F. Hesse, Commissioners Hansell, Smith, Thomas together with the City Attorney, Engineer for the City, and Clerk. Commissioner German absent. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. At the special meeting of the Board of City Commissioners, the call, and notice Las Vegas, Nevada, July 2, 1929. To the City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas: OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CLARK COUNTY NEVADA, JUNE 22ND 1929. This being the time set for the hearing of the protests if any on the "Ornamental Street Lighting System", and upon the inquiry of the Mayor Pro Tem if any had been received either written or oral at the office of the City Clerk, he was informed that none had been received. There was no meeting held due the lack of a quorum. Mayor Pro tem Smith, and the Clerk of the Board being the only members present.
