* Tea Rose Talk * Volume 2, Issue 4 April 27, 1998
Words from the
________ Basileus________
Dear Sorors,
The Regional Conference was a great success.
Theta Theta Omega had nine sorors registered
for the conference. Kappa Xi contributed to the
Las Vegas total of 14 by having five present.
I served as a committee chairman and Soror
Belisa ended up becoming a recorder. Lisa McNeil
was great help to the Awards Committee
chairman by acting as her runner. Jacki Brown
assisted the International Standards Representative
in handing out certificates at one of the plenary
sessions. Kappa Xi chapter presented their
banner at the undergraduate luncheon. Theta
Theta Omega members were very proud to see
Kappa Xi member, Erica Etienne, singing at the
luncheon. She has a beautiful voice. Lisa Russell
attended the Membership workshop and has
a great deal of information to give to the chapter
and the Membership Committee.
Although she did not win, Thais Baccus submitted
creative arts to bp judged at the Conference..
THANK YOU & GOOD JOB to last month’s
meeting hostesses, sorors who attended Regional,
and Nominating Committee for their
work in getting the delegates for Regional and
Boule.
Sisterly,
Jackie
Executive Committee
The meeting will be held on May 20,
1998 at the home of Soror Kaweeda
Adams. Any committee chairman that
would like to present a report at the
regular June meeting, please try to attend
the Executive Committee meeting.
Committee chairman , please remember
to have a written report at the
regular meeting. Three copies are
needed. One for the Basileus file, one
for the secretaries file, and one for the
sororities file. Chairman should also
have a book that includes all of the
information on their committee and
any reports. Final committee reports
are needed for Mardi Gras Ball, and
Founder’s Day.
