It will be noted, however, that lately we have been unable to secure a satisfactory report as to the fittness of the water for use in passenger cars, although the last analysis furnished the Government indicated that the quality of the water fulfilled the requirements ox tne Federal Law. Arrangements were made with Dr. Mark Boyd, of the University of Hevada, to analyse samples of this water periodically, but you will note that so far Mr. Cullen has been unable to get a certificate from him, covering his analysis. Am writing Mr. Cullen today, in answer to his letter, next attached, to handle this matter direct, in such a way as to comply fdlly with the requirements bf' the Federal Authorities.
