I agree.To add to the impressiveness of the ceremony, there will be humor, frequently satirical, often gentle; and drama, which can only come from great people extending themselves to combat an equally great opponent. Here's how we plan to .do it. 1. The guest celebrity, who will be introduced by the M.C. , will talk about the athlete who is to receive the first award, but he will not mention the recipient's name until the award is actually presented. During the celebrity's speech, we will show behind him, on a huge screen located upstage in the back of the podium, film of the athlete engaged in the glorious exercise of his talent ?╟÷ but heavily accenting the mistakes, the awkward moments, the ridiculous goofs that plague every sports figure in the course of his career, and which he would P^?½f??r to forget. The film used is, of course, subject to availability ... and taste. Then, after presentation, with the recipient onstage to receive his just acclaim, we will show footage of the many examples of the virtuousity for which we.celebrate him. In making his entra.ce, the athlete will come from an area directly behind the screen. With the aid of electronic special effects, the athlete will
