    Fillmore Branch- Water to he furnished by City of Fillmore-** File W-770 Dos Angeles, Cal., Marsh 3, 19 23. Mr. Fred E. Pettit, Jr; With further reference to the matter of water to be farn* ished us by the City of Fillmore, I quote below wire received from Asst. Engr. Don C. Johnson, yesterday's date: "Mayor and City Council here requested this to be written in their contract for water supply on advice of their attorneys providing that should the inhabitants of Fillmore ever increase to such an extent that all available water in water system shall be used and no more water can be supplied for system that the City of Fillmore shall be absolved from furnishing water to railroad Co., as against its inhabitants had long talk with Mayor and he says no such time can come but council seems determined on its insertion; W-426."
