Freeman company PUBLIC RELATIONS -2- 4. PROMOTION AT NATIONAL TRAVEL SHOW Suggest a promotion by MGM and the Sands at the National Travel Show in Chicago February 17-26. Recommend taking an exhibition booth, placing an actual portable 6 ft. deep pool la the booth and having 3 pretty girls diving and swimming In the water. The pool has large plastic windows and I believe that this idea, with the proper promotional material around the booth advertising the movie and the Sands, would make a good stunt. Traffic at the Show will be about 325,606 people for the ten day period in the Chicago International Amphitheater. 5. AIRLINE PACKET PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL Recommend a 4 color 4** x 9" staffer printed up by ROi featuring the movie and the movie title, to be placed in information packets on TWA, Suited, Western, and Bonanza Airlines. Recommend layout and idea be executed by MGH immediately to be sub- mitted to the Airlines for approval BETORS actual printing. 6, rational silver hollar guessing contest Suggest a well built display of thousands of shiny silver dollars be built and exhibited in lobbys of theatres shewing the movie with audiences guessing the exact amount of dollars as they pass into or out of the theatre. Small cards with space for guesseats name and guess could be printed up and available at side of display. This could be a continuing contest on a national level with dis- play traveling from city to cityj its transportation and installation would make great publicity pictures in each city, featuring armed guards and curious spectators. Prize for person or persons who guess exact amount could be a weekend vacation at the Sands or an alternate prize of a IKS Savings Bond. 7. THEATRE MANAGERS CONTEST AND PRIZE Suggest prize of weekend vacation in Las Yegas at the Sands be awarded MON Theatre Manager who does most outstanding or most unusual program of promo- tion and publicity on this picture.
