I am sorry that Lorene and I missed you, but hope that everything turned out okay and that they found the trouble and are able to prescribe something to remedy the situation, which Jack says is puzzling and damn uncomfortable* When I returned to the office, Al, I had a letter from Jack inviting me to the 12th anniversary party on Friday, December 18. He asked I that I write, wire or call you and let you know whether I could be there so that arrangements for transportation, etc. could be made. I don?╟╓t want to appear to be presumptious, but does the invitation include Lorene as before, or is it for one. Please don?╟╓t interpret this as a request for a second person, but I wanted to know before I mentioned it to Lorene. You all have been so generous that I would feel bad if this question were interpreted to mean that I was trying to get another added to the list. So please let me know straight and I won't feel bad if she isn't included. Thanks again for the many courtesies the Sands has always shown us and looking forward to seeing you in December.
