PERSONAL October 27, 8 0 -11 Mr. Thomas A. Campbell 135 South 4th Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Tom: I very much appreciate receipt of the News Release of the Water District dated October 25th, and I am wondering If I might be considered an editor, as the footnote indicates, so that I could receive a copy of the opinions of Mr. McNamee and the O'Melveny firm. As you know, I had always felt that the District would have to have either legislation or litigation to settle this question of meters, although I had never made any legal studies of the situation, my opinion being based on the reading of the statute itself. I am, therefore, particularly interested in what Mr. McNamee and the O'Melveny firm had to say, and if there are any extra copies of these opinions available, I would appreciate copies if you think I am entitled thereto. Yours very truly, E. E. Bennett 1 9 5 5 V EEB:ps
