Mr. E.E. Bennett - #2 condemnation In view of the attitude of the district. The question arose as to whether or not the Railroad Company would wish to retain water for its own use. I advised that the original Las Vegas Spring, being the first water In this area, was owned by the Railroad Company, to the best of my knowledge, and that although I did not speak for any one in the matter, It was my personal opinion that the Railroad Company probably would wish to retain this water for Its own use. There seemed to be agreement among the directors that this would be agreeable If desired by the Railroad. Sincerely CMC/b Calvin M, Cory end P.S.
