CHICKASAW COUNTRY CLUB 3395 Galloway Avenue M em pkis, T ennessee ennessee Feb. 14, 1966 Public Relations Director The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir, The society editor of THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis morning newspaper, has a- greed to use a picture of two Chickasaw couples "enjoying a Chickasaw Celebrity Holiday at The Sands"-?╟÷provided you can furnish the picture and get it here to be used before they return to Memphis. Needless to say, this should be good publicity for both of us* and I suggest we s|>lit the cost* Two pictures should be shot, both with the same two couples (Chickasaw members only, please). Suggest you take one with an interesting "atmosphere" or "acti- vity" background and one with a celebrity entertainer, if possible. Both 8"xl0" glossy prints must be mailed to Miss Mary George Beggs, Society Editor, THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis. Tenn. 38101 via air mail-special delivery no later than the night of Wednesday, Feb. 2J. This means they'll have to be shot soon after the party arrives. I realize this pushes you, but the timing is most important, as the newspaper will not use the picture later than Saturday morning. Will you please write me immediately to let me know whether or not you will be able to get this picture shot and back in time, as I assume you are interested in obtaining the publicity. Address my mail to the address below, as I do not have an office at the club. I will have to let Miss Beggs know your plans, in order that she may hold a place for the picture. Will also let you know later which two couples to use in the picture, after all reservations are "firmed up". Sincerely, Mrs. G. S. Greeson 499 Kinsman Road Memphis, Tenn. 58117 Frances A.
