    362 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Regional Planning Commission recommends that the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas approve and adopt said further Amended Master Plan after holding a public hearing as prescribed by law and certify their action on the certified copy of said map; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, the Board of City Commissioners of the City of North Las Vegas, and the Board of Commissioners of the County of Clark. /s/ R. HEARING ON AMENDMENT This being the time set for the hearing on the amendment to the Land Use Ordinance, and there TO LAND USE ORDINANCE being no one present to protest the adoption of the amendment to the land Use Ordinance, Commissioner Moore moved that the amendment be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. At this time Mr. P. C. Johnson and Mr. Andrew Johnson appeared before the Board relative to the zoning of their property at 2212 Ash Street. They were referred to Mr. Singrey, Secretary of the Planning Commission. PROPOSED ORDINANCE - An Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION X OF ORDINANCE NO. 378 OF THE CITY OF LAS Amendment to land Use VEGAS ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, ESTABLISHING A LAND USE Ordinance PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CREATING ELEVEN (11) DISTRICTS, REGULATING AND RESTRICTING: THE USE OF LAND, THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES; THE PROVISION OF OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND AIR; THE INTENSITY OF SUCH USES AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; ESTABLISHING BUILDING SETBACK LINES; ADOPTING A MAP OF SUCH DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED HEREIN; PRO­VIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT AND AMENDMENT THEREOF: REQUIRING THAT CERTAIN PERMITS SHALL BE SECURED FOR SUCH BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS AIR) FOR THE USE THEREOF, AND OF LANDS; REQUIRING CERTAIN FEES; PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AND RE­PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, "AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH," was read to the Board by title and referred to Commissioners Baskin and Clark for report. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Moore moved that the meeting adjourn until March 14, 1949 at the hour of 4:20 P.M. ATTEST: APPROVED: mayor Chief Deputy City Clerk See page 374 for CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING Las Vegas, Nevada March 14, 1949 CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners held this 14th day of March, 1949, was called to order at the hour of 4:20 P.M. by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin with the following members present: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore; City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall and Chief Deputy City Clerk Betty Funston. Absent: Commissioner Whipple, City Manager J. M. Murphy and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Thereafter Commissioner Moore moved that Ordinance No. 38l be approved on its first reading. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin Clark, Moore and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. There being no further business to come before the meeting, Commissioner Clark moved that the meeting adjourn until March 22, 1949 at the hour of 3:00 P.M.
