HERMANCE, Co-Chairman February 7, 195>7 The Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Attention: Publicity Director Gentlemen: Bie eleventh annual national Convention of the Women?╟╓s Army Corps Veteran's Association is having it's national convention this coming August 9-10?╟÷11 at the Bilbao re Hotel in Los Angeles. This group is composed of approximately IpO chapters throughout the United States, and this is the first time their Convention is being held on the west coast* Inasmuch as there will be about j?00 delegates at this convention, and that most have stated that they are bringing their families, and are not alone combining a convention coverage, but a vacation with their visit, and that the larger amount of those attending plan to come to Las Vegas while on their stay in the west, we are trying to advertise Las Vegas to our guests* So many of our California members, and we have quite a large chapter, know of the small souvenier gifts that your wonderful hotel, The Sands, supplies to its guests, and we are hoping that you might be willing to advertise your accomodations by supplying our Convention committee with the necessary $00 of these items to distribute to their convention delegates, to remind them of what "rThe Sands", and Las Vegas, has to offer. May we hear from you at your earliest convenience? Sincerely, Mrs.; Wilma 5* Voge National Convention uiiairman 12322 Viewcrest Hoad Studio City, Calif* 1957 ?╟÷ 11 tli ^^nnuaf CS-onvention Committee ?╟÷ 1957
