6. A. INSTALLATIONS Contractor shall furnish and install at his sole expense all materials, supplies, displays, etc., for general advertising. It is understood that there is to be no illuminated advertising on the ground floor of the ticketing building. Advertising on the bridge and in the fingers may be illuminated. The Commission will install such wiring as may be necessary to provide power to the above noted displays. B. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE The Contractor shall render service and maintenance to the satisfaction of the Commission on all advertising displays installed by the Contractor on the New Passenger Terminal Building. C. CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS AND APPROVALS All work done by the Contractor shall conform to all applicable regula- tions, building codes and health standards. 1. All construction shall meet the requirements for Type I (fire- resistive) Construction as set forth in the National Building Code (current edition) and the Building Standards for the New Passenger Terminal Building. 2. Contractor shall make payment promptly as due to all persons supply- ing labor or materials for the prosecution of the work provided in making the improvements and shall not permit any lien or claim to be filed or prosecuted against the Commission on account of any labor or material furnished. D. RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES. The Contractor shall have the exclusive rights to install advertising in the areas shown on the drawing which is a part of the specification, subject to the approval of the Commission. It is understood that the direct line telephone board is under separate bid and not a part of this bid document. The Commission also reserves the right to designate other areas for non-revenue advertising by either profit or non-profit organizations. ARTICLE IV - TERM OF AGREEMENT The term of the Agreement shall commence on the date of execution thereof and shall continue thereafter and terminate three (3) years from and after this date. ARTICLE V - USE RENTAL A. RENTAL BASIS The rental to be paid by the Contractor to the Commission for each year of the term hereof shall be as follows; Bidders shall bid on a minimum guarantee or a percentage of gross whichever may be the larger. Gross revenues shall mean all revenues received or due the Contractor as a result of his sale of space on, and use of, general advertising.
