We are able to get fey, as during certain hours of the night there is sufficient water from the springs, well and shop yards pump to put a trickle of water over the spillway at the reservoir. There has been no water over the spillway at the settling basin for many days. Am enclosing a marked copy of the weekly paper called " l a b o r i n reference to our recent city election, and am very reluctant to eay that the article in this paper is absolutely the truth. We have as yet been un­able to get any action out of the present mayor and com­missioners toward Issuing an ordinance to prevent waste of water and. regulate sprinkling hours, I respectfully call attention again to my letter of March 12th, particularly the fifth paragraph, I do not want to appear to be continually crying "folfj*, but I really very badly need the assistance almost dally o f an attorney or legal advisor who is fully aeouainted with the situation out here. In my letter, I mentioned Ham for two very obvious reasons: first, he is fairly well liked and is considered a cunning and smart lawyer; second, his partner, Byland Taylor, is now City Attorney, since the recent election, and is formulating every plan that is put forth by the present mayor. However, his name would now be out of the guest!on, as I understand Ham & Taylor have one or two of the damage eases against the Hailrosd in con­nection with the bus accident on the Boulder highway last March* There are two other attorneys in town, either of which would be acceptable; first and most preferable, A. S. Henderson, with whom you are acquainted and who, for many years, m s State Senator. Henderson carries much
