I agree.^Joeffe Stevens, Monte Stott, and Jim Rush are inevitable counterparts of a million dollar production loaded with glamour. The only thing glamorous about The Bruises is their fabulous show business career. Known throughout two continents as the Three Ladies of the Mop, the Bruises comprise one of icedom's most famous comedy routines. The act started on Christmas Eve when the trio witnessed a scene in a London Arena where char-ladies had been celebrating too vehemently. Thus was born a hilarious skit which has become a must in the Hollywood Ice Revue and other Arthur M. Wirtz productions for many years. In fact this threesome has kept a total of more than 72,000,000 ice show fans in stitches in 15 years with Wirtz productions. All three were athletes and have outstanding service records during World War II. . X, II older of more championships than any other pair skating team, the Falks are paired for life off the ice as well as on. Ria Baran and Paul Falk began their skating careers on rollers. They won the German championship six times, the European in 1950 and the World's in 1951. Meanwhile they had taken to the blades and won the 1951 and 1952 European championships on ice and went on to capture the world events in both years. The climax of their fabulous amateur career came in winning the Olympic title in 1952 at Oslo. The pair team siSto"" was voted the No. 1 sportsmanship trophy by their native German newsmen. As professionals the Falks have skated before millions by virtue of their roll in Cinerama Holiday. They hail from Dus*el- dorf, Germany but huve skated in every Euroo?╜nn capital. ?√ß?√ß'M ;'!?╤v:"r>i"'; :
