I had no music, no concept of sets and costumes or what he wanted. So I did it and when we had the steps he?╟╓d add the music and most of the time it worked ... it was really interesting. And if it didn?╟╓t work, we?╟╓d g back and do it again.?╟Ñ Fluff has been ?╟úJubilee!?╟╓?╟Ñs company manager since the extravaganza opened in T981 and has experienced many changes and challenges in those 20 years. Among a multitude of diverse tasks/ she now does payroll every night for almost 100 people (which takes about 1 l/2 hours) and the paperwork can get burdensome. ?╟úOne day I said, ?╟ Diane [assistant company manager Diane Palm], we?╟╓ve got to go to school and learn the computer,?╟╓ so we did.?╟Ñ Fluff speaks, affectionately of her 5?╟úJubilee\?╟Ñ cast and of the concept of beauty and of the showgirl. ?╟úThey have to walk a certain way,?╟Ñ she says, ?╟úan wear costumes that cost thousands of dollars, but there is still something missing ?╟÷ and that is ?╟ mystique.?╟╓It?╟╓s mysr tique, and the fact that they know who they are, that makes them magical. They have to give out that aura of aloofnes and ... allure. Every girl who walks down that staircase is special and beautiful.?╟Ñ , : Elegant, gracious, knowledgeable, disciplined and highly respected, Fluff LeCoque personifies all of the qualities she expounds and continues to transr port them to glorious life on the stage through her work with ?╟úDonn Arden?╟╓s Jubilee!?╟Ñ The nightly reflection of her essence is brilliant and breathtaking.
