An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE WARM AIR HEATING CODE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 607, BY PROVIDING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES! TERM OF CERTIFICATES OF QUALIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR RENEWALS OF CERTI­FICATES; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, was read in full to the Board at this time. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 672 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Fountain, Bunker, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 20 OF ORDINANCE NO. 6l0 BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF ELECTRICAL EXAMINERS TO SEVEN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPER­LY RELATED THERETO, was reported on favorably by Commissioners Fountain and Sharp with the following amendments: 1. That instead of two members to be selected from a list certified by the Southern Nevada Power Company that there be one member from this group, and one Electrical Engineer registered by the State of Nevada. 2. That instead of two journeyman electricians on this Board, that there be two journeyman master electricians, or equivalent. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 673 be adopted, as amended. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioners Fountain and Sharp, committee for recommendation on the proposed or­dinance to adopt the 1955 Plumbing Code requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on charitable solicitation requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS WITHIN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY INSPECTED AND CLASSIFIED BY THE STATE QUARANTINE OFFICER; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Fountain and Whipple was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Fountain moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 674 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Fountain, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING SALES OF HYPODERMIC SYRINGES OR NEEDLES EXCEPT TO DULY AUTHORIZED PERSONS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR ILLEGAL POSSESSION THEREOF; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, having been re­ported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Sharp, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 675 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Fountain, Sharp, Bunker and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Fountain moved the application of Ben Marcus for a secondhand dealers license at B & D Sales Company, 510 Fremont Street be held for completion of po­lice investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Bunker and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the application of Theodore Wall for a detective agency at 205 Bridger be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Bunker, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Sharp moved the resignation of Berkley L. Bunker as Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of Las Vegas be accepted, and the following resolution commending Mr. Bunker on his outstanding service on this Board be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, has re­ceived the resignation of BERKELEY L.
