This Clipping From HOLLYWOOD REPORTER HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. ' ?╜J| MOULIN ROUGE - Lavishness of the DojorLArden "Won- "derful World" revue ofttimes overshadows the topliners booked into this Frank Sennes establishment. Such is the case with Bob Crosby ?·r His Bobcats, whose 30-minute act might best be described as "good." Mixture of Dixieland offered by Crosby and group (6), and chirp Kay Brown, is more-or-less themed on "The Music Man," with the singer leading off with "76 Trombones" and then using the same Meredith Willson tune, with special lyrics, for the wind-up. Crosby impresses best with his rousing "Saints Go Marching In" rendition, and his group with "Big Noise From Winetka." Miss Brown has plenty of savvy in selling "Bye, Bye Blackbird," "Sittin' On Top Of The World," "Red, Red Robin" and "You Made Me Love You." Her appearance is extremely attractive. On ahead, Marvin Roy, an expert slight-of-hander, works his act around lighted bulbs. House standards, the Max Fidler Quartet and Dick Stabile's orchestra, turn in yeoman work. But it's the Arden revue itself, still as fresh as when caught some months ago, that continues to dazzle. ?╟÷ Neal Graham.
