He turns and starts to go, then he glances back at the Magic Box again. Curiosity overwhelms him and he moves slowly back to it. | His hand reaches out to the lid as Samson and the others back away. Carefully, the King opens the box. CLOSE - MAGIC BOX as King Louie's hand opens it. In the box (MATTE SHOT) the scene is that of TARZAN swinging through the trees on a vine with JANE (STOCK). In panic the apeman cries out: TARZAN No, Jane I The vine! The vine! Get ahold of the vine, not ?╟÷ Then the treeman howls his famous jungle cry and the scene CUTS to a SHOT of stampeding elephants; one of them seems to race right out of the box. BACK TO SCENE An elephant?╟╓s trunk shoots out of the box just as King Louie slams the lid shut. He hits at the trunk until it withdraws with the piercing whine of a wounded pachyderm. (CONTINUED)
