I agree.\J BUSCH aL V- t ?╟≤ J: ':|. :-,.; I he first German girl ever to win the World's championship, Gundi Busch is making her first American tour. She is only the second girl to defeat a reigning champion in world competition. Last February, Gundi won the German, European, and World Championships displaying a talent which stamps her as one of the greatest skaters of all time. Arthur* Wirtz, producer of the Hollywood Ice Revue, was so impressed with reports of her ability, he flew to Europe last summer for a first hand account and returned with the signed contract. Speaking five languages fluently, Gundi can converse with friends in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German. Her English is almost without accent. Although 5 feet, 3 inches tall, better than average height for a girl, Gundi has the smallest waist line in the Hollywood Ice Revue's company. She has skated for royalty in nearly every country in Europe. //MCLAUGHLIN ;.,/?√ß*$?√ß I his red headed jitterbug is fresh from one of the most sensational "invasions" of Europe ever accomplished by an American entertainer. Playing the leading role in "Sinbad the Sailor", in famous Earl's Court in London, Englishmen everywhere agreed that this Scotch-Irish lass is great. The show ran more than nine months in the English capital and then continued on a spectacular European tour. Born in New York, Andra moved to Colorado Springs at 12 and began skating in earnest. She won hundreds of medals as a speed skater as well as a figure skater and even took a turn at playing hockey with her high school boys team in Colorado Springs. Turning professional at 16, Andra passed up an almost sure chance at an Olympic title so that she could skate with the famous Arthur M. Wirtz ice extravaganza. The crowds love her, whether they are English, French, or American. Andra is a solid success.
