TONITE Sands segment for 2/21: At 8:31 pick up Coates or Scott talking with JE as they enter front of Sands* Camera on casino floor shooting out, and also to show star-picture-board in Inside doorway* Scott, JE pause at tap of steps, as camera swings around in front of then, ready to travel down aisle between slots and gases* Scott,JE walk and talk on entertainment between 2 rows of slots, while camera on other aisle picks them up and shows painted pictures of Sands stars on walls, to sort of Illustrate interview* Camera still travels ahead, going backward, shooting Scott, JE talking and walking, then into Copa Boom, and into JE booth* In booth, if possible* other stars such as Bellafonte, Warren, Berle sit as though they are waiting for show* Scott and JE introduce everybody, a little talk, then JE picks up projection booth mike, sa#d, "Roll it, booth** ?╟÷ darkness, JE*s red light for phone flashes on as sort of signal, and over darkness you hear actual start of Introduction and show* This should be approximately 8:35* Camera then swings around, using Zoomar lens, and rolls to edge of steps* Second camera on floor of Copa Room to be used for secondary angles* Then actual first number is shown* It is 8 minutes long, uses 31 people, cost to be about $3500, or little less* End of number is end of first Las Togas segment* Cameras then swing back to Lounge, get ready to pick up Romaine Brown, on show break, with commentator in front of bandstand for signoff* This could be two numbers, or about 7 minutes, ending with powerful driving finish, after Scott talks about lounge music being such an Important part of Las Tegas scene* : Two segments, one of S minutes interviewing and 8 minutes show of a good production number; then a finishing segment of 7 minutes with powerful finish* This will be Las Togas as it really is* t One idea would be to have Joey Bishop running thru show in different situations: as doorman opening door for Scott and JE, then as "grip** getting in camera range purposely; then as security guard walking ahead of JE and Scott; then as change dealer, wearing sun visor; then ending up as camera finishes long line of star portraits, with Joey actually "hanging** or standing on ladder, etc* holding actual wooden frame* As Scott and JE pass on into Copa Room, he winks, says hello to JE$ Al freeman 9508 WILSHIRE BlVD. ?╟≤ BEVERIY HIllS, CAl. ?╟≤ BRADSHAW 2-86) 1 0 0 0 0
