MILLY (To DANIEL, handing him a piece of raw meat) Keep that beefsteak on that eye, and don't mess with it. DANIEL (Putting the steak On his eye and moving away) Yes m'am. MILLY (Quickly) Gideon ?╟÷ what's the matter with you. GIDEON Swoled up knuckles and loose tooth. MILLY (Examining his knuckles) It's a wonder you have any teeth left at all. GIDEON (Miserably) I'm sorry, Milly ?╟÷ honest. But when they got Adam, we jest couldn't stand by and let... MILLY I understand. I know you all did your best.
