I agree.Jerry Jackson 835 N. Orlando Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90069 Dear Jerry, It was great to see you at the finale of Les Folies Bergere. Very sad to see the show close but wonderful to see a lot of old friends again. I am sending you a dvd made from some old out-takes shot in 1984. I had made a ?╟úFolies?╟Ñ commercial for the Tropicana Marketing Department and filmed several of the production numbers for the spot. After the closing on March 28/09,1 went through my film footage and found the out-takes from the commercial. A digital conversion to a hard drive made it possible to put togeather a vignette of the show. The purpose of the vignette was a gift, a memento, to those who had been with Les Folies Bergere in 1984. The presentation is made from bits and pieces, everything out of order, with incorrect music most of the time. Some of the film was damaged after storage for twenty five years so the finished product is made from what was available. It is far from perfect but perhaps good enough for it?╟╓s intended purpose. This gift, a memento, could mean so much to those who worked to achieve a great performance onstage. Some have said, while watching the dvd, the memories brought tears. This old footage should not be left to waste away. It is something to be appreciated but not misused. It should be shared with those who gave so much time, effort and talent. Most of our friends have no pictures or record of this special time in their lives. All, have expressed much appreciation, having received this gift. a ; None gave more time, effort and talent than you. Without your hard work and creativity this show could not have achieved the recognition that it received. Les Folies Bergere provided our livelihood as well as a rare opportunity to participate in something world famous. We are all very proud to have been a part of Les Folies Bergere and grateful to you, your talent and imagination.
