I could not agree more with the desirability of including promotion people from the participating hotels in pre-production talks, and it is planned to set up a meeting in Las Vegas within the next two weeks to make appropriate arrangements. (i{.) Do you have an estimated breakdown of costs in which the participating hotels will be involved for at least the first show? By this I mean, do you know how much it will cost to film pictures of the hotel fronts for credits, power costs at the Hew Frontier, estimated time tables for the housing and feeding of production personnel, etc. We do not have an estimated breakdown of the costs with respect to films or power. We are checking stock footage and it is possible that the film costs of the hotels will be negligible. In any case, you will note that Paragraph 3 of the Agreement provides that the maximum cost of film will not exceed $15>00, to be paid by the participating hotels. As it now stands, there will be no power costs to be paid by any of the hotels. With the exception of a few pre-production people, the estimated timetables for the housing and feeding of production personnel will be limited to the week preceding the broadcast. Kindest regards.
