I agree.TELEPHONES 4411-4412 V GEORGE E. MARSHALL ATTORNEY AT LAW POST OFFICE BOX 128 LAS VEGAS, NEVADA January 8, 1951. Las Vegas Land and Water Go., 401 South 2nd St., Las Vegas, Nevada. Gentlemen: The Las Vegas Hardware Company of Las Vegas, Nevada, has been sold. We are writing to establish the amount of debts owed. We are quite sure that there is not sufficient money on hand to pay the debts of this business. We therefore make the proposal to you that we can and will be able to pay off the indebtedness of this company and continue in business by payment of 80% of the amounts due and will promptly pay the same upon return of your company authorizing acceptance of such payment. Otherwise, we are going to have to work out a composition of creditors. We would like to avoid the expense of that. May we have your favorable reaction. Yours very truly, GEM: j ak
