I agree.Hovember 20, 1957 Mr. Jack Bntratter Sands Hotel las Vegas, Nevada Dear Jacks First, I would like to thank you for the hospitality you accorded Hugh Benson and Harry Tateiman on their recent visit to las Vegas, they told me you were most gracious and that your A1 Freeman was most helpful on lining up people for them to meet in regard to the las Vegas idea we have now developed. After Hugh Benson spoke with A1 today he suggested that 1 write you a letter setting down all our thoughts pertaining to this project and that you would possibly be in town for further discussion on Monday next. In anticipation of that visit this is the way we see our untitled comedy series in Vegas. First of all, however, we have a firm commitment to do a pilot for the American Broadcasting Company. This pilot is to be representative of a series of 39 half-hour shows in and about las Vegas. He have selected the Sands Hotel as our site for this series because of your friendship with Mr. Warner and all of us and for the great promotion and production know-how you personally have. How for the story ?╟÷ Adjoining the Sands Hotel property is a small goat farm. This property has been handed down generation to generation to Grandpa McHaffie. living with him are his daughter and two grandchildren, Jack and Jill. Jack is the undersheriff of las Vegas, Jill works for the Sands Hotel in the line and Sarah just works everybody * s business. She is sort of a helpful busybody getting people in and out of trouble.
