    LAS VEGAS WATER SUPPLY (Data furnished by W.R.Bracken) Mr. Bracken reports actual consumption of water for 1936, for municipal purposes 118,557,577 cu.ft. 324,815 cu.ft. per day 3.759 cu.ft. per second 2,429,616.2 gals. per day Assuming a population of 7500 at Las Vegas, during 1936, this would make a consumption of 324 gals. per person per day. At that rate a population of 10,000 people would require 3,240,000 gals. per day, or a flow of 5.01 c . f . s . Certificate of Appropriation under Appl. 7201, grants 2.30 c . f . s . for municipal purposes. We are applying for 2.70 c . f . s . from new well for municipal pur-poses to make a total of 5.00 c . f . s . for municipal purposes Present (Feb. 26, 1937) flow of new well - Bracken report - 2293.20 gal. per min. = 5.1138 c . f . s . Deducting therefrom 2.70 c . f . s . leaves 2.4138 c . f . s . for irrigation Statutory duty of water for irrigation in Nevada 100 acres per 1. c . f . s .
