No doubt you will be coming home soon since you are not the type to sit back and relax even when you are forced to under the present circum- stances* It was so good to hear you the other day and to think that you were so alert right after surgery* Pm afraid I wouldn?╟╓t have managed as well* I delivered your message to Mr* Dubin and he assured me that he would take care of things "pronto"?╟≤ I received my sample today and immediately sent it on to Mother Gerald* The wrapper is very attractive and the Angel really looks like he is up to tricks* So here is hoping that this venture will be the means to bring in some immediate funds for our proposed expansion program* I just learned through Mr* Don Baker that the 40 bed addition will cost $450j000 so that means I?╟╓ll have to do some praying plus many other^things Tf we want to build before the end of 1958* At the present time he is computing figures as to the Hill-Burton Fund and to what our quota should be on the over-all picture* Mr* Baker will get in touch with me just as soon as he has something more concrete to present and then it will be up to us to manage the rest* He is personally interested in our project and I will have to depend on his good judgment* Here I am all wrapped up in business and you shouldn?╟╓t even be dis- turbed with ray headaches* I know that you will say a prayer for this while you are recuperating and God knows that we will need all the help we can get - materially and spiritually* Keep up your sunny smile and it won?╟╓t be long before you are back in sunny Nevada* In the meantime we will continue to pray for you and your happiness and are deeply grateful for your personal help in the further development of the Hospital* God bless you always*
