Las Vegas - March 5, 19*»8 R 2 -5 9 ICour memo February 26, file 733^» regarding proposed warehouse oonatruotion by Lae Vegas Distributing Companyi Mr. Frank Strongs We have requested Mr. Masek to submit revised specifications that will more clearly show the proposed construction* In this connection, we have now received the attached request from adjoining lessee, Clark County Wholesale Meroantile Company, requesting that consideration be given to leasing the site in question to them. The Meroantile Company have been lessees on our property since about 1906 and desire this site on which to construct a 70 x 30 ft. building to receive International Harvester shipments of farm machinery. If available, they would construct a two story building, the upper part to be used as offioes and the lower to display farm machinery as well as deep freezing units and ice boxes now being manufactured by International Harvester. If the application is favorably considered by the Railroad Company, they would be agreeable to relinquishing for Masek1s use the 95* frontage they now have under lease at Main and Clark Streets. I have advised Mr. Ronnow that the Railroad Company will favorably consider his request if he can make arrangements that are suitable to Masek, who has gone to some expense in clearing debris from this site and also holds lease on the southerly 50 feet, expiring October 31, 19^8. Will further advise you regarding outcome of their negotiations* A. M. Folger
