By ARMY ARCHERD ?√ß 1**'0JT>>-r-r-'??,.r s~i Warner Bros, launched its "77 Sunset Strip" series at Dino's. Well, not really at Dean Martin's Sunset Stripery, but on the studio set which is an exact duplicate. All details were faithfully reproduced, from the exterior to the bar, with tables, napkins, etc., bearing Martin's caricature. But NO Dean Martin . . . "77" is an ABC show, and Martin is under exclusive contract to NBC, so he can't (as yet) reciprocate for the fantastic plugs . . . Bill Orr and his troupe of tv actors were all on hand. His western stars were, of course, very much on hand to bend an elbow . . . But Jim Garner was unhappy because he's unable to get a loanout from, WB to do "Heller With a Gun" at Par . . . Ty Hardin's bride, Andra Martin, is also working on the WB lot ?√ß?╟÷ but not in "Cheyenne" with her hubby. She's in a "Maverick" segment while awaiting 20th-Fox's decision on her termer . . . Big John Russell, "Lawman's" star, is not only mustachioed for this role, but was given a grey-streaked hair job. To attract the past-teen f emmes ? . . . Efrem Zimbalist Jr. is moving from his BevHills home because a neighbor hauled him into the police station because of his barking dogs. Zimbalist will make the San Fernando Valley his home. The Old Vic company is excited because they hear Marilyn Monroe is due to view their "Twelfth Night" tonight. "One thing's certain," a Vic'er voiced, "she'll never be able to play Viola." (Viola masquerades as a boy throughout the play) . . . Ronnie Knox, now pigskinning for the Toronto Argonauts, pens that Metro wants to see him again when the football season's over. He'll return Nov. 11 . . . Howard Keel will take three days off "The Big Fisherman" to wing to London for the preem of "Floods of Fear." Ah, this jet age . . . Over-enthusiastic press agents invited both Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher to Anna Maria Alber- ghetti's bow in Frank Sennes' new Moulin Rouge extravaganza '-Wonderful World." Miss R. showed (accompanied by secretary Camille Williams), but Fisher must have gotten the word about the poised photographers and played it cool elsewhere. Milton Blackstone chatted with Miss R. before show-time . . . Donn 4?·|Jen's new show and the enlarged stage, cast, etc., lives up to Sennes' promise to give L.A. the best live entertainment in the country, with the possible exception of his Lido show in, Las Vegas . . . Russ Arno, a Sinatra-D. Martin "discovery," bows at the Slates on the 17th . . . Those clever kids on La Cienega Blvd., the Box Card Co., are SatEvePosted in the Oct. 25 issue . . . The Ye Little Club tosses a Circus Party next Monday. Costumes are a must . . . Lynn Starr with Tom Hull at Billy Gray's Band Box . . . Tony Roberts, who debuted on Milton Berle's tv show, now has four Vegas offers . . . His many pals in the press and prais- eries and studios are gonna miss Andy Hervey, who pulls outta Hollywood this week, after 37 years, to move to Phoenix. He's one of the town's finest guys.
