MEMBERSHIP REPORT
OCTOBER 4, 1997
A workshop for the '1997 MIP process was held on September 13, 1997 at 2:30 pm, with the next workshop scheduled for October 4, 1997 at 2:30 pm.
The next scheduled membership meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 11, 1997 at the home of Clair Hart. Please be prepared to give a brief description or overview of your proposed workshop. If you need funds please let Carolyn know as soon as possible and maintain all your receipts.
All materials regarding the candidates has been mailed to the Regional Director for final approval.
Letter to the Sorors of Theta Theta Omega Chapter inviting their attendance at the 1997 MIP will be mailed on October 6, 1997. Enclosed in that letter will be a schedule of events for the weekend. The schedule is the same as is in the MIP book. If you need to be rescheduled for a workshop, please contact the membership chairman.
Lastly, let Carolyn know your luncheon preference for the Luncheon on Sunday, October 19, 1997. The choices are Roast Beef in Mushroom and Stuffed Chicken Breast in Champagne sauce. The deadline for your reservation is October 15, 1997 and the cost is $18.00 per person including tax and gratuity. (Remember if you have a special diet request, let us know asap.)

The Membership Committee meet, August 2, 3:00pm at the home of Clair Hart. The first order of business was to get committees formed that would be needed for the Graduate Intake Process. The committees are as follows:

The event will be held at the Residence Inn of the Marriot. Friday October 17 through Sunday October 19,1997. The rooms are $74.00 per night and they sleep up to four persons. The one bedroom sleeps two and the sofa that makes into a bed sleeps two. The deadline to pay for the rooms is October xx, 1997 and should be given to Carolyn Parks. The check should be made to the Marriot. A contintental breakfast is served by the Inn free to those who will be staying at the Inn. There will be juice, coffee and rolls in the chairperson's room for all others. On Friday, the Inn has a Happy Hour for those of you that may want an early snack. Times, schedules and additional information will be presented when finalized.
The next item covered was the Summer Cooler. This was held at the Peccole Ranch Mission
Palms Club House on August 23,1997 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Thirty-one sorors attended.
There was plenty of food and alot of activity. The ice breaker of the evening was the Scatagories
game. It was evident after five rounds of play, that we are as competitive as we are
sophisticated. We were awesome. Thanks to everyone for a great Summer Cooler
