Johnson Post Office Box 169 Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mr. Johnson: Confirming our telephone conversation of the 22nd, I am enclosing two sets of application forms used by California Water Service Company throughout its entire operation in the State of California. With reference to your inquiry regarding Sam B. Pearce, I have heen unable to ascertain at this writing whether or not he has done any work for us. However, I do know that he has not actually performed any work in any of the southern plants, namely, Hermosa-Redondo and East Los Angeles. However, I have directed an inquiry to our Engineering Department in San Jose to determine if he has had any contracts in the northern plants. Upon receipt of this information, I shall notify you.
