HIS FACE IS PLEASED AS HE WRITES THE SYMBOLS OF DASHES IN THE RHYTHM OF 4/4 TIME, MRS. OWENS PLAYS A SONG IN THE RHYTHM OF 2/4 TIME AND HARRIETT TRANSLATES IT ON THE BLACKBOARD. THEN SHE RETURNS TO HER PLACE AT THE PIANO. SHELLY DOES THE SAME DEMONSTRATION WITH THE RHYTHM OF 3/4 TIME. Now write how many loud chords and how many soft chords there are. Very good.
