Commissioner Bunker moved the above mentioned property be rezoned from R-E to R-l. ASSESSMENT DISTRICT Bearden Property PUBLIC HEARING Rezoning of Meadows Addition PUBLIC HEARING Rezoning of Charleston Village Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote:Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that an assessment district for the installation of street improvements in the Bearden Property be created, and the following resolution adopted: #324 R E S 0 L U_T_I_0_N_ WHEREAS, certain streets and portions of streets in the City of Las Vegas are without adequate street improvements, and WHEREAS, numerous oral requests have been made that these streets be improved, and WHERERAS, the Board of Commissioners are desirous that the streets and portions of streets in the city of Las Vegas, hereinafter described, be improved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of September, 1952, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare, and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams, plans of the work and locality to be improved, together with the estimates of cost for constructing oil bound gravel pavement and concrete curbs and gutters, whereever said improvements are missing on the following described streets, to-wit: Parcel No. 1. This being the time set for the public hearing on the application of Verle Croft for the rezoning of Lots 18 to 34, Block 12, Lots 1 to 34, Block 11 and Lots 1 to 34, Block 10 of the Meadows Addition from R-2 to R-3, His Honor asked if there was anyone present who wished to protest this rezoning. There were no objections voiced. Commissioner Bunker moved that Lots 18 to 34, Block 12, Lots 1 to 34, Block 11 and Lots 1 to 34, Block 10 of Meadows Addition be rezoned from R-2 to R-3/ Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the continuation of the public hearing on the request of the Madsen Development Co. to rezone the following portions of their property: FROM R-l to R-3-Lots 1 to 25, Block 1; lots 1 to 12, BLOCK 2; Lots 1 to 9, Block 3; and Lots 1 to 6 , Block 4 Of the proposed Charleston Village.
