    El Dorado [not legible] June 7th 1880 In pursuance to the by-laws and a call duty pub-district, a miners meeting [not legible] day held in El Dorado, Mining District. P.N Davis was elected chairman and bans [not legible] secretary. On motion the following resolution amending the by-laws mere severally unanimously adopted. Resolved that Dec 2nd be awarded to read as follows: Sec 2. There shall be a winning recorder elected on [to?] 1st Monday in June each year holding office from [to?] 10th of June following his election [not legible] sooner removed by a new election which are only be by a [not legible] call resigned by at [leash?] [not legible] claim holders giving notice of a new election to be held after said notice shall have been hosted in at [not legible] [three?]. [not legible] places [into?] district for 20 days. Resolved that Sec. 3 be [awarded?] to read as follows:- Sec 3. St shall be [the?] duty of [not legible] Record [not legible] [not legible] in a suitable book or books a [not legible]-[fulland?] truthful record of all District meetings and of all notices of location left with him for record for which [latter?] he shall be entitled to three dollars for each notice record. Resolved that the [not legible] unamended by the addition of the following. Sec. 11 That for any and all purposes a meeting of the miners of this District may be called by a notice setting for to the cause of said meeting and otherwise conforming to the provisions of Sec 2. Resolved that the by laws of the district be awarded by the addition of the following Sec. 17 The qualification of an election in this district shall be the actual holding of a mining claim [not legible] or agent.
