j 1 n 8 i REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBDIVISION Fire Protection I recommend that the subdivider gives a surety bond of $150.00 per plug required in the subdivision, to the City of Las Vegas, to Insure proper fire protection. This bond to be released upon the Cities accept ance of the last designated fire plug1 The subdivider shall be responsible for the installation of the proper fittings at the points designated by the Fire Chief. The sub» divider shall present to the City two plats of the subdivision, to a scale of two hundred feet to the inch, showing the proposed location and size of all water mains ’iifid ml’acPei All i,inink. and laterals within the subdivision and specifying th© kind of pipe to be installed* The Fire Chief shall designate the location of all fire plugs on each plat and the City Engineer shall approve or reject the water syst©m<> One plat to be returned to the subdivider and one retained in the City files. When construction on two or more buildings shall have been started within a new plug area, the subdivider must have purchased and have ready for installation a Meuller Columbiam or equal fire plug« This plug to be installed at the Cities expense. A fire plug area shall be held to mean the area within 300 ft. of an existant fire plug, any buildings outside such an area shall fall within a new plug area. Before a fire plug can be accepted it must pass a flaw test. The fir© flow shall be not less than 500 gallons per minute from two ad= jacent plugs simultaneously^ Streets? 1 recommend that the subdivider give, to the City of Las Vegas, \ j|b »j a surety bond of 58$? per square yard, for the total yardage of pave­ment to be laid within th© subdivision, to Insure satisfactory streets. This bond to be released upon the Cities acceptance of the completion of the paving of all dedicated streets within the subdivision. fhfn construction of two or more dwellings fronting on an tiuapaved street has.been started, the subdivider must begin paving the street and complete the gravel base to the next Intersecting street within 30 days.
