GARDEN ANGLE ON PRINCESS & LUCYBIRD DAY They walk through the beautiful flowers and shrubbery and finally end up at the gate, near the pedestal that holds the gargoyle. 54 CLOSE - GARGOYLE Its eyes open and dart over to the Princessj there is a sad, longing expression on its face. Then suddenly it reacts as if it gets an idea. 55 MED. SHOT - PRINCESS AND LUCYBIRD Something makes a noise as it falls close to their feet. The Princess hears it and looks down. She stoops and picks it up. 56 CLOSE SHOT - HER HAND In it is a lovely, polished sea shell. PRINCESS' VOICE A sea shell? In the garden? 57 BACK TO SCENE PRINCESS It seems to have fallen off this pedestal holding the gargoyle. LUCYBIRD But a sea shell... we are over a hundred leagues from the sea.
