I agree. The San March 28, 1956 Mr. A1 Freeman Public Relations Director Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Al: About a month ago I wrote to Herb McDonald advising him I planned to come to Las Vegas during the Tournament of Champions with Jack Lauck. I became a bit concerned a few days ago over not having had any reply, so I phoned him and found he was quite ill and wouldn't be back on the Job for another two weeks. Hence this letter to you. Jack and I are now planning on flying down by TWA the afternoon of the 23rd, and I am hopeful of staying at the Sands with him. We're planning on doing a motor- log story on the area, possibly using a hotshot golfer in a shot or two. Frankly, I was surprised this year not to receive an invitation f*om Gene Murphy. Perhaps the fact I was unable to make it last year had something to do with it. That's why I fell back on Herb's invitation. Could you let me know in the next few days it's OK? Meanwhile, thanks for all the good treatment in the past. Best regards, Henry W. Kusserow Travel-Aviation editor.
