    First was County Examination

    for three days. A long drawn sigh

    of the torture we went through.

    However I was successful, and,

    received my certificate a week

    After Ex. came the Conferences, then house cleaning which was was waiting for me while at Provo.
    The Temple Workers from
    Salt Lake, one hundred fourteen all told, were here to be entertained We had some of them at our home, and much time was taken in practicing for the Concert given at the Opera House.
    They returned home Monday; so now I am comparatively free, of course every day brings its work. Rasp berries and currants are now ready to pick so that canning of fruit is on our hands. Dear Mary, you must know how sorry every one of the Academy girls were for you when we learned of your trouble. Such a strong affection grew up among us that when the dark clouds

    You and family have my deepest sympathy. You certainly are in grief, but God knows what is good for all.
    When ever you get time to write me I shall be pleased to hear what you are doing. You know we are all delighted to learn of our Academy brothers and sisters.
