A card which can save the student cardholder hundreds of dollars at many of the businesses in the Las Vegas community. Please see the enclosed list of proposed business establishments. The National Collegiate Discount Card is designed especially for the college student, so that they may take advantage of a wide array of discounts ranging from 20% to 50% along with some 2 for 1 offers available only through the National Collegiate Discount Card. Each card will be consecutively numbered, embossed, ana manufactured with the same quality as your major credit cards. The three-colored card will come with a "Guide Booklet" featuring member's offers, dis-counts, prices, addresses, telephone numbers and helpful in-formation about each participating business. Please use the Executive Dining Card package in the possession of President Hendrick as a general representation of the National Collegiate Discount Card package. One of the most important facts of our plan is to offer the National Collegiate Discount Card through our Fund R sis m g Program. We will offer through your cooperative agencies a special discounted price of $20.00 (regular price is $30.00) to all the students attending UNLV, and reward your fund raising efforts with a full 25% or $5.00 from the sale of each and every card. With the number of students enrolled at the University, this program codld very easily increase your funds account by thousands of dollars in a very short period of time. The sale of just 2,000 cards will return $10,000 to you. We propose to market the NCDC through direct sales to the individual student. With the proper authorization, this would be accomplished by setting up point of sale stations on campus at the beginning of each new semester. The p.o.s. stations staff will be comprised of student employees. At no time will any expense be incurred by the CSUN, the University, or its agencies for all or any part of our pro-gram or its implementation. Therefore, there cannot be any loss, only a win-win situation for you and the individual student. We solicit any and all suggestions or comments in regards to the program. If there are any questions or if I can be of any assistance in explaining our program further, please call me at 737-1819. Sincerely, NATIONAL COLLEGIATE DISCOUNT CARD William J.
