SCHOOL ENROLLMENT increase recorded in the Las Vegas public schools. The 26.3 per cent increase brought the Las Vegas school 22.6 per cent to 43,879 not including Nevada Southern. Contained in the district are 50 elementary schools, 7 junior high schools and 7 high schools. The teaching and administrative staff totals 1,675.
