So you are fully up to date. Apparently the deal will come through definitely in the very near future with the guarantees that Jack required. When we were in Tokyo on the survey trip we were cut 50% on our rooms at the Palace Hotel. This was arranged here before we went by an outfit called the George R. Smith Organ- ization. Wally Smith from that outfit called me yesterday to help him get off the hook with the Palace Hotel since Red isn't staying there on his present trip. During our talk Wally reminded me he represents a brand new hotel in Toronto, The Westbury, plus the new Regency Hotel in New York. I told him I would suggest to you the possibility of you and Red staying in both places, since you will be in Toronto on September 14 and in New York presumably between the Toronto and Allentown dates. I am sure he will come up with a very favorable rate, if you are interested. Attached is some correspondence from him that might be helpful. He will be waiting to hear from you. Best.
